Full Job Description
Responsibilities:

- Assist in finding suitable open tenders for the company.
- Preparation and submission of tender, attending site showrounds, evaluation and recommendation of suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, planning activities and estimating costs according to relevant project schedule, specification and safety requirements.
- Prepare the sub-contractor bill of quantities, specifications, contracts, programs and schedules for the tender/works.
- Monitor and measure sub-contractors’ works and assist the QS to certify valuations
- Assist in preparation of project budgets and monitor the monthly actuals against planned
- Monitor project costs, identify cost overruns and implement cost control measures
- Perform contract administration work such as preparing variations, handling contractual claims.
- Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts and cost value reports
- Assist to conduct periodic reviews of suppliers and sub-contractors
- Attend daily and monthly meetings as required by contract and operations
- Obtaining of quotations and sourcing of items required by the operations
- Perform regular market research to identify and recommend potential local suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Ensure drawings and designs meet project/tender deadlines
- Perform assessment and valuation of completed work
- Preparing and finalizing final accounts for project

Qualifications:

- A diploma or degree in quantity surveying or related field
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Tools
- Knowledge and hands on experience in Auto-CAD/ MicroStation, Revit, would be an advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in quantity surveying
- Relevant experience in construction industry and in track work will be an advantage
